Necron Reinforcements Rise From the Ashes
The long awaited second release is rumored for this coming month, May 5th. Beasts of War is reporting that this second wave will include:
- Triarch Stalker
- Tomb Blade
- Canoptek Wraith
- Canoptek Spyder
- Nemesor Zahndrekh
- Vargard Obyron
- Illuminor Szeras
- Destroyer Lord Upgrade Pack
- Heavy Destroyer Upgrade Pack
I know people are very excited for the Triach Stalker, and I am drooling waiting to see how the new Wraiths and Spyders will look. It’s good to see we didn’t have to wait 2 years after release for our second wave, like the poor poor Tyranids. However, similar to the bugs, the Triarch Stalker looks to be WAY bigger than I expected. I know my own conversion had it as a similar overall profile to a dread, though a little taller. This new one harks more the Defiler than a Dread.
The one (or two, single chasis) thing that is CLEARLY missing from this list, however is the the Scythe’s! I know many players are chomping at the bit to include Night Scythes and Doom Scythes in their army, and balk at the idea of converting a large amount of large flyers. Let’s hope we have some more information about that soon.
